MiniMotors is Back!
Dualtron Eagle Pro Controller. This is the motor controller on the Dualtron Eagle Pro.
The battery connectors were incompatible, so I built an adapter using the old battery connectors and motor connectors from my original burned-out controller. Luckily, they matched the battery connectors of the DT Eagle Pro controller. Additionally, the new controller was missing a secondary 12V plug for the stock turn signals and horn, so I built a splitter using some JST connectors I had on hand. This way, I avoided making any permanent modifications to the new controller or my Speedway 5.
After all that, the controller works fine, but I recommend lowering or avoiding regenerative braking (set parameter Pa to 0 in the EY3 settings) as it’s known to damage these controllers. For the price, I wish they were built to handle this better.
